BAAAAD Monitor!
GAH!!!! The power button on my monitor is broken. It was working fine this morning. I turned it off this afternoon and now it won't work. Hubby looked at it when he came home from work and said that the power button appears to be the culprit. <insert loud sigh>
I love my monitor. It has worked perfectly for a few years now and even survived the rough move from Indy to Rhode Island. I'm using the Hubby's computer while he's at a meeting, but I don't like it as well as my own. It feels different.
Anyone have any clue as to whether or not my monitor could be repaired or better yet if it'd be worth getting repaired? I can only imagine what they might charge. Of course, it's no longer under any warranty. I've been browsing the web for deals on lcd flat-screen monitors, but I'm sure Hubby is going to want to wait until he gets paid again. We've been shelling out enough in expenses lately.
Seen any good deals on monitors lately?
I better check my various emails before Hubby returns home and wants to reclaim his computer.

The price of monitors is SO outrageous. I won't even whisper how much mine cost.

That's what I'm afraid of

if it's just the power button, then I am sure it's not going to be so expensive. Your service center will probably not charge to check on what has to be repaired.

I wish that was the case, but all the businesses around here are really hurting and have raised prices for every little thing. It may be more affordable simply to get another monitor.
