American Idol - Oh My!
We are getting down to the nitty-gritty with American Idol. Four shall become Three tonight!
While I was at the gym this morning, everyone was talking about how horrible Jason Castro performed. I've always liked Jason and I felt really bad for him. Simon went out of his way to be harsh after his first performance. I don't think I could take that. I would have wanted to fight back.
The final spot in the Top 3 should clearly come down between Jason and Syesha. Both of the Davids should be safe by a mile. That doesn't mean they will be though. American Idol can really throw a curve-ball some seasons. I voted for both of them.
And I have to say that I am quite thankful for my DVR. The Hubby had plans to have my car looked at by a friend last night. He could have gone on his own, but I could tell he wanted me to go with him. We didn't get home until after American Idol had started, but my DVR was faithfully recording it. I didn't have to miss a minute of it.
On a side note, while we were waiting for my car the Hubby was flipping through a gaming magazine. He became a bit grumpy because he needs to upgrade his computer and his system memory before he'd be able to play a lot of the games he found appealing. Maybe I'll let him use our stimulus check for that if something doesn't fall apart before then. *knocks on wood*
So, who do you think is going home tonight on AI? Is it clearly Jason or will his fan-base save him again?

If Jason doesn't go tonight, I am driving up to Bryan/College Station and i'm just gonna whup the snot out of some teenage girls, take their little cell phones and run over them. The phones, not the girls. Seriously, the boy just is NOT that good. I can't stand syesha either but at least she is finally showing some potential. David Cook sooooooo has it all. Little David, has talent but he creeps me out with those faces he makes when he sings. He needs to grow up just a bit, i think. So there you go, if Jason stays and i'm gone for a while, watch the news lol, i may need bail money.

Everyone seems to be predicting that he'll go tonight, but stranger things have happened!
David Cook definitely has the whole package. I adore David Archuleta, but he is still young. No one can deny his talent though. He has a wonderful voice.
I'll be sure to keep an eye on your blog to make sure you haven't gone on a cell-phone destruction spree!

Monday morning I heard on our local radio station that Jason told one of the magazines that he was sort of hoping to go home because he just wanted to sing the songs that he wanted and the way he wanted to sing them. That was certainly evident in his singing on Tuesday. I like him alot but he just wasn't into it anymore. He'll be fine now that he is out of it. Who knows what will happen to him.

I could believe that. He appears to be such a laid-back mellow kind of guy. I'm sure all that pressure was a lot for him to deal with. He made the comment last night that he doesn't know how he would have dealt with learning 3 songs for next week. I think he was relieved to be done.
