Routine Saturday?

Picture this if you can...

I am sitting here at my computer in my formal gown - all dolled up (makeup done, hair done, jewelry on) about to play World of Warcraft.  If anyone could see this for themselves, they'd probably laugh or think I'm on crack.  I have about an hour to kill before we leave so why not get in some WoW time right?

I would have put off getting ready a little longer, but I wanted plenty of time to play with my hair.  I never wear it up (other then a ponytail).  So, I was unsure how much of a hassle it would be.  Note - I have long THICK hair.  Add in natural curls and you get the idea.  It looks good so far.  Here's praying that it stays up and doesn't drive me crazy!

The Hubby hasn't really commented on how I look yet.  When I appeared in the office doorway, he asked me if I thought we should buy his Dad some air tools for Father's Day.  Hello, McFly - Is this thing on???   I'm standing in front of him in a formal dress and he's thinking about Father's Day.  Men!  *shakes head*  Once I complete the package with shoes and etc, I will be expecting compliments or hell might break loose.

Until then, I'm off to explore and conquer...maybe I should make a formal dress for my little mage too!

HAHAHAHAHA, I do the same thing with EQ. I'll be all dolled up early, so I'll sit there playing like that. Always makes my husband laugh.

Honey, lemme tell ya something. A man isn't going to notice what you have on unless he's gay. They notice when you DON'T have something on. Sad, but true.

Well, thankfully, the Hubby did comment (freely - I didn't have to ask) on how pretty I looked before we left.

I can absolutely relate to sitting at the computer in formal wear playing World of Warcraft. I've done it far too many times.

How did you evening go? Have fun?

It was a pleasant evening.  Most of the people there were quite a bit older then the Hubby and myself, but the dinner was good and the music was nice.  Overall, it was a good night.  I enjoyed getting all dressed up for a change.
